IBLOG POST 2: The Power of an Unpolished Life

Preview

Let’s just say it: We don’t always have it together.

Some days are more ugh than amen.
Some prayers are more like groans than glory.
And sometimes our lives feel like a blooper reel.

But here’s the truth that changed everything for me:

God never asked you to be polished. He asked you to be present.

That’s what this whole Gooder and Gooder movement is about. Not perfection—but pursuit.
Not image—but intimacy.
Not staged faith—but real stories of transformation in progress.

Your mess doesn’t disqualify you. It invites God to move.

And spoiler alert? He’s already at work.

That broken part of your story? He’s using it to bring healing to others.
That prayer you’ve whispered for years? He’s storing every word.
That weakness you hate? It’s where His power is about to shine.

So stop waiting to be “ready.”
You are right on time.

This is your permission slip to live boldly, even if your life feels unfinished.
To be seen. To be used. To be healed.
To laugh at your mistakes and lean into your mission.

Because God’s not done with you.
In fact…

It’s just getting Gooder and Gooder.

Your turn:
What’s something unpolished in your life that God is using for good? Share a piece of your story below—someone else may need to hear it.
